About & History
Glassline Incorporated
Boat building led to automotive prototype projects, display and exhibit work and to manufacturing machine housings. That original business Is now considered to be our COMMERCIAL segment.
Within a few years, we were introduced to the steel, chemical and waste water treatment industries as a supplier of chemical resistant equipment, replacing stainless steel and rubber lined steel tanks, covers, ductwork and fume scrubbers. These products we designate as our CORROSION segment.
In the early 70’s we were asked to supply large, light weight, maintenance free columns and panels for a few developers and architects who saw the advantages of molded fiberglass over conventional wood, and masonry.
New construction work led to the area of Historic Preservation , first as a supplier of small medallions and bracketry and eventually to the production of wall , cornice and water table systems. Our ARCHITECTURAL segment now accounts for 35% of our business
This web site is divided into our three areas of business:
- COMMERCIAL
- CORROSION
- ARCHITECTURAL
The technological similarities between our business segments is referred to as Concentric diversification. We have found again and again that what we experience. In one segment carries offer to the other segments to the advantage of all concerned.
